CALCIUM – George House, 45, 27232 NYS Route 342, died Monday evening, March 6, 2017, at the Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown after becoming sick at home.

Born in Watertown on December 3, 1971, a son of Mary A. House, he attended schools in Copenhagen and Watertown.  Previously employed by the Klock Farm in Lafargeville as well as at various construction jobs in North Carolina and New York, he, most recently, worked as a home health aide in Rutland.  On June 29, 1991, he married Tammy Weaver at Orleans Corners, Lafargeville.  A former Boy Scout and 4-H member, he enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles, watching professional wrestling, playing basketball, and reading.  In addition, he had collected die cast cars for a long time.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy; his children, Derick, Jordon, and Mary Katherine House, all of Calcium; his mother, Mary A. House; his granddaughter, Alison House; his grandmother, Veronica House Davis; and a great uncle, Raymond House; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is predeceased by his grandfather, George W. House; his great grandparents, Mary K. & William Davis and Estella Hayes; his aunt and uncle, Cynthia and Timothy House; and his father-in-law, Lonnie Weaver.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 500 State St., Carthage. There will be no public service or burial.
