COPENHAGEN – Glen W. House, 66, of the Harris Road, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 25, 2019, at his home.

Born on February 25, 1953, in Lowville, New York, to the late George Washington and Veronica Marie (Davis) House, Glen graduated from Copenhagen Central School. Then, he became a Machine Equipment Operator for the Town of Champion, and he served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era.  On November 27, 1982, he married Sherry Lynn Nevills.

Glen enjoyed fishing, camping, and watching movies.  Most of all, though, he loved spending time with his grandson, Landon, as well as with his other grandchildren, and his faithful canine companion, Jessie.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry; a son, William (Sherry) House, of Watertown; four siblings:  Alma (David) Patocki, of Watertown, Mary House, of Carthage, Clifford (Betty) House, of Calcium, and Stella (Tony) Murray, of Dexter; four grandchildren:  Laurinda and Ryan Gould; Dallas Colvin; and Landon House; two great-grandchildren, Peighton Gardner and Blake Gould; his father-and mother-in-law, Frank and Shirley Nevills; three sisters-in-law:  Tammey Rebb, Stacy Twombly, and Kandi Newton; and two brothers-in-law, Ron Briton and Carl Newton; as well as by several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Timothy House; a sister, Cynthia House; a brother-in-law, John Twombly, a stepbrother, Raymond House, who passed in 2018, as well as by two stepsisters, Juanita and Rosie House.

No public services will be held.  Memorial donations in care of Sherry House at PO Box 117, Copenhagen, New York 13626, will go toward a fund for Glen’s grandson, Landon.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc.
